Description
Science communicators aim to increase access and public awareness of quantum science and technology. This includes speaking at public events such as exhibitions or festivals or presenting via TV and/or social media. Science communicators in quantum try to demystify difficult concepts with clear explanations, while also using unsolved problems to intrigue their audience.
Routes
Strong understanding of quantum science usually gained through a relevant master’s or PhD degree, alongside some experience in teaching and/or science communications. Science communicators often work alongside a position in academic research.
